As a past member of PLRPro,I still get the current newsletters, and was happy when I received the latest one announcing that they had just launched PLRPro 3.0 with high quality content and an introductory membership price of only $29 a month. They stated “PLRPro.com has gone back to it’s grass roots, back to being a pure content provider, and a damn good one at that.”
It sounded perfect! There was a time when I was spending around $300 a month to PLR membership sites in the hopes of getting some quality content, however most failed to deliver any quality.
So I was eager to see if PLRPro was going to make good on their promise. When I first subscribed and logged in,I was happy to see that for each month they are offering ten articles in 25 different niches –so many articles!
However,I was a little disappointed when I opened the first set and immediately saw that there were no spaces between the periods of the sentences and the first letters of the following sentences. So I thought,OK,this will be annoying to fix but let’s see about the actual content. So I read through articles in about five different niches and was sad to find that not only did they sound like they were written by non-English speakers, with grammatical errors and sentences that just didn’t make sense, but there was little in the way of useful content. There were lots of sentences that painted broad brushstrokes and were absolutely useless, sentences similar to “many people like xxx”or “xxx is becoming popular around the world…” you know the type.
Since I started making content sites in 2002,one of the most important things I’ve learned is that quality doe matter. If Google sees that visitors only spent a few seconds on your site before hitting the back button, your ranking is going to drop. And besides,I like making sites that I can be proud of.
There is a bit of information in these articles,so at this point I’m debating whether or not I’m going to re-write some of them,or just let that $30 go.
So if you’re looking for a lot of content for a low price, regardless of the quality, this is the site for you. If you’re looking for content that you can work with and re-write,this may be the site for you. Otherwise,I would write the content yourself or hire out some good writers.
thank you for your honest appraisal of this new offering. I was sorry to hear of the limitations, especially since I would not likely use all the niches anyway as many of the niches would likely be so obscure as to possibly have little commercial value though they say keyword rich it doesn’t mean commercial.
I want to share my experience as a member of PLR PRO 3.0. When I received the email about the new PLR PRO 3.0 I joined immediately. But then I was a little disappointed. First,PLR PRO offered 250 “spun”articles a month to each member, which I received. Maybe I just misunderstood, but I thought I was going to receive spun articles, and no body else was going to have the same 100 % exact articles. I was wrong. A few days later,I found the same articles, word by word,in blogs, websites, well, almost everywhere. I contacted them and this was their explanation:
“PLRPro articles are unique in a sense that they have up to 73% different wordings, phrases, sentences than other articles. They may have similarities with other articles but rest assured that the articles have sufficient variation for them to be termed as “unique”in a PLR sense.
I apologize for any inconvenience and misunderstanding. Dan and Marc may have sent you an email regarding uniqueness of PLRPro articles. ”
In conclusion,if you don’t mind sharing the same 250 articles with 500 other members, feel free to join. For some of us,quality is more important that quantity.
Hi Jennifer
I have to agree with you. I have been buying the articles for several months are they are all very poor quality and do contain a lot of useless filler sentences, are mostly pointless and were not written by English first language speakers. I’ve decided to re-write them loosely but if that doesn’t work out,I’ll drop it soon.
